Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma officially participated officially on Thursday, and their divorce is making headlines. Between The Buzz, an old post from the cricketer’s X (East Twitter) account is going viral on social media.
The alleged screenshot makes a controversial remarks on marriage, dating back in 2013. This suggests that marriage is just a fancy word when a woman assumes the responsibility for a man and child who can no longer be handled by her mother.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma got married in Gurgaon in December 2020 and quickly became a fan-psandida couple on social media.
By 2023, things started changing. His social media interactions became rare and the cryptic post guessed fans that something was wrong.
As time passed, rumors only became stronger. At the end of 2023, Yuzvendra removed his photos from social media and the two unfollowed each other on Instagram.
In February 2025, he was seen outside the Bandra Family Court, admitted for divorce by mutual consent. He also requested exemption for a six-month cooling-closed period, but the court refused.
After 18 months of being separated, Yuzvendra and Dhanashree officially participated on March 20, 2025.
According to reports, Yuzvendra Chahal paid a .5 4.75 crore as alimony for Dhanashree Verma.
Recently, Dhanashree shared a glimpse of her latest music video, Dekh ji dekha mainOn Instagram. But instead of focusing on the song, many users flooded with trolling. He brought the alimony amount and called Dhanashree a “Gold Digar”.
A user sarcastically asked, “Mam, did you get ₹ 4.75 crore in your account?” While another questioned, “Why did you take ₹ 4 crore?”
