New Delhi: To protect his personal and publicity rights, the actor has filed a suit in the Delhi High Court against several parties for allegedly misusing his name, picture, voice and nickname ‘Bhidu’ without his consent.
Krushna Abhishek, famous for imitating Jackie Shroff on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show and other platforms, recently spoke to Pinkvilla and revealed that Tiger Shroff personally appreciated his performance. Jackie Shroff too has praised Abhishek, and highlighted his unique ability to capture the essence of Shroff with remarkable authenticity and charm.
Recently, Krushna Abhishek is all set to be seen in the much-awaited film Welcome to the Jungle. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film stars Jackie Shroff in the role of the villain and has an impressive cast including Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Raveena Tandon, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Mika Singh and Daler Mehndi.
Welcome to the Jungle is expected to be the biggest comedy film of 2024 and will be released on Christmas.
In response to the legal action, Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah expressed her support on Instagram. She captioned her post, “To all the disappointed fans who have been sending us messages, I just want to tell you all that please understand that imitation is the biggest form of flattery. Krushna loves #Jaggudada @apnabhidu @krushna30”
On the professional front, Krushna Abhishek also features in the cooking and comedy show Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment, in which he co-stars with Kashmera Shah. Judged by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi and hosted by Bharti Singh, the show’s mix of culinary and comic entertainment continues to captivate the audience.
