Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanj started his Met Gala today. Shaking a Maharaja look, the singer brought the house down at the biggest fashion event of the year.
Now, Diljit Dosanjh’s team shared a picture, which immediately set the internet-the singer-actor was seen posing with the global music icon Shakira and Nicole Sherzinger in an exclusive dinner organized by Anna Wintor.
The trio did not see less than the royal, except for spontaneous glamor and undisputed star power.
In another image shared by Diljit Dosanjh’s team, the singer-actor is seen standing with Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and Shakira. It is not every day that you see such a powerhouse lineup in a picture – a true treatment for fans worldwide.
Diljit Dosanjh went to Met Gala Blue Carpet in a royal Maharaja look by designer Prabal Gurung. Ethnic dress was an ideal amalgamation of Indian textiles and contemporary sewing. The floor-length cape adorned with delicate floral patterns raised the entire organization.
Diljit accessed the look with wide emerald, rubies, pearls and jewelery jewelery. The waistband, embroidered in gold, took a look together. He also placed a formal sword in one hand.
The singer shared glimpses with his Met Gala outing on Instagram. In the caption, he wrote, “Main Hoon Punjab is inspired by the theme of #MeTgala Black Dandandiism, I bring my turban, my culture and my mother tongue” Punjabi “to Met Gala.”

The event was co-headed by singer Paarel Williams, actor Coleman Domingo, F1 Champion Louis Hamilton, Rapper AP Rocky and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintor. Basketball legend Labron James served as an honorary co-chairman.
Returning to Diljit Dosanjhe, the singer recently concluded his sensational heart-lunating tour. His upcoming single, title BuckIn collaboration with K-Pop star Jackson Wang, will be released on 9 May.
