Anushka Sharma is the latest Bollywood celebrity to be involved in Bandwagan praising the Indian Army for “defense” during difficult times. India started Pakistan and PoK terror locations on 7 May at Pakistan and PoK terror bases. In response, Pakistan also resorted to violence.
Anushka Sharma, coming from an army family, praised the Indian Army in an Instagram post. He wrote, “It is always grateful to our Indian armed forces to protect us through these times that they are like heroes.

For uncontrolled, Anushka Sharma’s father Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma is a retired army officer.
Soon after Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli shared a message for the Indian Army. He wrote, “We are standing in solidarity, and salute our armed forces in these difficult times to protect their country fiercely. We are indebted to our heroes forever, for their unwavering bravery and their and their families to make them a great nation.”
India attacked Pakistan and PoK -based terrorist bases in the codename of Operation Sindoor after midnight of 7 May in response to the Pahgam attack. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that an airstrike under Operation Sindoor to avenge the Pahgam attack was done with precise, caution and sensitivity.
Meanwhile, Pakistan started “unsafe” attacks at LoC on Thursday night.
“Pakistan Armed Forces started several attacks using drones and other sages along the entire western border at night intervention of 08 and 09 May 2025. Pakistani soldiers also resorted to several ceasefire violations (CFVs) along with the line of control in Jammu and Kashmir.”
It said that drone attacks were effectively repeated, and a “terrible answer” was given by the army to violate the ceasefire. “The Indian Army is committed to the nation’s sovereignty and the protection of regional integrity. All nefarious designs will be responded with force,” he said.
Earlier, the army had stated that the drone aims at military stations in Jammu, Pathankot and Udampur, and all the threats were “rapidly neutralized”.
Meanwhile, India’s Border Security Force (BSF) attempted a major infiltration across the border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district.
