Members of the Indian film fraternity expressed grief over the tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad on June 12, 2025 (Thursday). Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar, Tamil superstar Vijay and Telugu Star Junior NTR, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan reacted to the tragic news on social media.
Akshay wrote on X, “Surprised in the Air India accident and speechless. Pray only at this time.”
Boeing 787 aircraft left the airport at 232 pm, which included passengers and crew. Reports of the State Medical Association states that the aircraft directly crashed directly on the BJ Medical College UG Hostel Mess in Meghani Nagar. Air India A1–171 flight was bound from Ahmedabad to London.
Pushpa Star Allu Arjun wrote, “Sad Ahmedabad Air India flight crashed heart. My deep condolences to the families of the victims. Their soul can rest in peace.”
The aircraft was under the command of Captain Sumit Sabarwal with the first officer Clive Kundar. Captain Sumit Sabharwal is an LTC with an 8,200 -hour experience. Copilot had a 1,100 -hour flying experience.
Tamil superstar-petitician Vijay said that he was “very sad about the tragic accident.” Vijay tweeted from his party Tamilga Vatri Kazgam account @tvkvijayhq, “Heartfelt condolences to bereaved families.
“To know about the unfortunate plane crash in Ahmedabad, deeply saddened. My prayers are all passengers, the crew on the board, affected and their families,” RRR Actor Ram Charan.
The founder president of Jan Sena Party, actor-royalty Pawan Kalyan expressed “deep sympathy” to the families affected by the accident.
“I have been devastated by the tragic Air India flight crash in Ahmedabad. My heartfelt prayers are with all the passengers and crew,” he wrote.
Sunny Deol, Nani, Sonu Sood, Randeep Hooda, Ritish Deshmukh, Disha Patani, Khushboo Sundar, Sunil Shetty and Sharavanand and others also expressed their condolences and prayed for the victims and families.
In the light of the tragedy, Netflix India canceled its web series screening and fan event Rana Naidu season 2 In Mumbai, expressing sympathy and solidarity with the people affected by the accident.
