Tamil superstar Ajith on Tuesday thanked his fans and industry colleagues for their “immense support and encouragement” while taking part in the Dubai 24H 2025 race. The actor’s racing team on Sunday finished third in the ‘992 – Porsche 911 GT3’ category of the racing event held from January 10 to 12.

Held annually at the Dubai Autodrome, the Dubai 24H sees high-performance GT and Touring cars compete in a grueling 24-hour format that tests speed, strategy and stamina. Ajith’s manager Suresh Chandra shared his statement in a post on the social media platform x,
“I cannot find enough words to thank the Almighty, my family, members of the film industry, media, political leaders, sports personalities, well-wishers and my dear fans for the immense support and encouragement given to me ahead of the Dubai Race Event , during the race, and even now after the incident,” the 53-year-old actor said in the statement.
He further said that the “unwavering love and encouragement” he has received has been “the driving force behind my passion and perseverance.”
“It inspires me to push my limits, accept challenges and achieve new milestones in motorsport. This journey is as much about you as it is about me, and I cherish every moment on the track. Committed to proving your faith.” It is in me,” Ajit said.
The actor also wished his fans on the festivals of Pongal and Makar Sankranti. He asked them to focus on their goals and not get involved in fan wars. “Be kind to my teammates and focus on my personal development,” he said in an interview during the program.

Ajit, who launched his racing team Ajit Kumar Racing in September last year, participated in the event along with teammates Matthew Daughtry, Fabien Duffieux and Cameron McLeod.
On Sunday, several videos went viral on social media, in which Ajit and his team are seen celebrating their victory. Some videos show the actor running up to the stage with the Indian flag in his hands to collect the trophy.
The win came days after Ajith’s car crashed during a practice session before the race. However, the actor had a narrow escape.
