Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are ready to rebuild their on-screen cameradari after 17 long years. According to a report by HT City, the prestigious couple will act in an entertaining, an entertaining, edge-the-sit thriller directed by the famous filmmaker Priyadarshan.

“Akshay and Saif have always enjoyed working together and praised each other’s crafts. The moment they read the script, they knew that they were on board,” revealed a source close to development.
Highlighting the project, the source said, “This is a nail-biting and a completely entertaining thriller. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film will tilt the audience from beginning to end.”
The film is scheduled to go on the floor in August 2025 and is slapped for a dramatic release in 2026.
Akshay and Saif’s previous films together
Akshay and Saif were last seen together in the 2008 film Tashan. The pair have previously shared screen space in several popular films, including Panth Classic ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ (1994), ‘Yeh Dilgi’ (1994), ‘Tu Chor Main Sipahi’ (1996), and ‘Kamet’ (1998), all of which strengthened their position as a fan-priest pair of 90s.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is currently working with Priyadarshan on another upcoming project called ‘Bhoot Bangla’. The film marks his renovation after a gap of 14 years.
Apart from this, Akshay and Priyadarshan are also supporting the much awaited ‘Hera Feri 3’. Speaking about the project, Akshay told HT, “Priyam Sir has given us a great surprise by directing ‘Hera Feri 3’. What is a great start for 2025!”
