Akshay Kumar visits the iconic Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai

Actor Akshay Kumar has donated Rs 1.21 crore for the Haji Ali Dargah restoration project, a dargah trust official said on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

Suhail Khandwani, managing trustee of Haji Ali Dargah, shared the news of the actor’s donation for the project in a post on social media platform X.

Khandwani also posted a video of Kumar’s visit to the historic dargah, where he offered prayers and also offered a chaadar.

Bollywood Superstar Padmashree @akshaykumar has generously taken responsibility for the renovation work of Haji Ali Dargah amounting to ₹1,21,00,000/-.

“As Managing Trustee, it was an honour for me to welcome this philanthropist along with my entire team. Prayers were offered for his late parents and the entire nation,” Khandwani wrote.

The official handle of Haji Ali Dargah Trust also shared Khandwani’s post.
