Mumbai: In the trailer launch of “Kesari 2”, Akshay Kumar responded to Jaya Bachchan’s criticism of his film “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha”.
In the event, Kumar was asked how he feels when he was criticized by fellow members of the film industry. The actor replied, saying that he does not believe that anyone usually criticizes his films from the fraternity. However, when a journalist brought the recent remarks of veteran actress Jaya Bachchan – that she did not choose to see the toilet: a love story – Akshay replied with grace due to the word “toilet” in the title.
He said in Hindi, “Now A agar anaphone is called, toh it will be Sai, Muje Nahi Pata. If the toilet: Ek Prem Katha Banke Main is a Galat Kama Kim … If she is that she is a place then it will be (if she is nothing, then I should not do anything. Story, then … but if she is saying, it should be correct).”

In a recent event, Jaya Bachchan commented that he would not watch a film called ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. “Just look at the title of the film; I will never go to see a film with such a name. Is this a name? Is it really a name?” He said.
Jaya then turned to the audience and asked if he would feel comfortable watching the film with such a title. When only a handful of people raised their hands, he humblely commented, “Out of so many people, only four are interested? It’s quite sad. It’s a flop.”
“Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” on Keshav (played by Akshay Kumar), the center marries a person from a rural background who marries Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar). However, their marriage reaches a road when Jaya finds out that Keshav’s house lacks a basic need – a toilet. The determination to bring him back, Keshav takes deep roots social norms and challenges the conservative mentality of his family in the dialect to create proper hygiene and restore dignity.
The film also includes Anupam Kher, Divyendu, Sudhir Pandey and Ayesha Raza Mishra.
Talking about Akshay Kumar’s latest project, “Kesari Chapter 2”, Jallianwala Bagh subsequently throws light on the genocide, which C. Shankaran Nair focuses on a legal battle for justice under the leadership of a fearless lawyer and a one -time president of the Indian National Congress.
“Kesari Chapter 2” is set for a dramatic release on 18 April.
