Mumbai: Akshay could not attend Anant and Radhika’s wedding as he was diagnosed with Covid-19. After testing negative, Akshay attended the ceremony to extend his heartfelt wishes to the newlywed couple.
Several clips from tonight’s ceremony surfaced online, in which both Akshay and Twinkle can be seen entering the venue wearing colour-coordinated traditional attire.
Akshay looked fit and healthy. Fans on social media expressed their happiness on seeing the Khiladi Kumar at Anant and Radhika’s post-wedding function.
“This is so nice. He came to bless the couple,” wrote a netizen.
Tonight’s ceremony is organised for the media, domestic staff of the Ambani family and Reliance employees.
Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, exchanged wedding vows on July 12 in a lavish wedding ceremony attended by several international celebrities and high-profile guests from various fields.
Radhika and Anant Ambani’s wedding celebration took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
On July 13, an aashirwad ceremony was held for the newlyweds, which was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several eminent religious leaders, including Shankaracharya Swami Sadananda Saraswati of Dwarka Peeth and Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda of Jyotirmath, attended the ceremony and were warmly welcomed with a standing ovation.
The Ambani family also hosted a wedding reception on July 14. Stars like Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover made their presence felt at the post-wedding ceremony.
