Akshay Oberoi on working with Yash in Visa: ‘I was StarStroke’

Mumbai: Actor Akshay Oberoi, who will appear with Kannada superstar Yash in the upcoming film, “Toxic: A Fairy Tail for Grontups”, says he was the first Starstruk and inspired by the morality and humility of the actor’s work.

“I am lucky that I got to work with Hrithik Roshan here (Bollywood) I would start working with Yash.” I was quite Starstruk to work with him, it took me some time to work opposite him. I was also a big fan of ‘KGF’ like all of us. He is special, his thinking is bigger than someone else. He has inspired me to think big about his career and self, “Oberoi told PTI.

“Toxic: A Fairy Tail for Grontups” is directed by Geetu Mohandas and is produced by VN Productions and Monster Mind Creation. It will be released in theaters on March 19, 2026.

“Geetu Mohandas is an unprecedented filmmaker, he has made ‘False Ka Dice’, ‘Mothon’, and I have experience of being directed by him, and he is very good. ‘Toxic’ is going to be great,” said Oberoi.

40 -year -old actor Shashank is directing another release for Khith, “Sunny Sansari Ki Tulsi Kumari”. Varun Dhawan and Jahnavi Kapoor’s film will be released on October 2 this year.

Oberoi says he is hoping that both he will be able to reach the audience on a large scale “toxic” and “Tulsi Kumari of Sunny Sanskari”.

“The actor is a dreamer. I have been doing this for 15 years and with every film I dream that this film works well. The only way to survive is to keep that positive attitude because this line is much higher than control in this line. The only thing we can do is to ensure that we get more information about our work. Said.

Oberoi, who was speaking on the legendary actor-Filmekar Guru Dutt on the occasion of a retrospective, said that historian artists like Dutt and Balraj Sahni have inspired him to go to films.

“My father was eight years old, when I was eight years old. Recently, I read his biography, I became emotional. I became his great fan.”

The actor praised the initiative taken by NFDC and Ultra on Dutt.

Expressing his praise for Sahni, Oberoi said, “We no longer talk about him, but he was a great actor. We should celebrate our icon, especially those who have gone. They have left us very quickly, but they have left a impact with their work around the world, and we have forgotten about them.”
