New Delhi: The much awaited action thriller Sikander, directed by AR Murugados and built by Sajid Nadiadwala, has finally made a grand start on the big screen today, and it is already making waves at the box office. The excitement around Salman Khan’s latest film is clear, and fans have shown their enthusiasm by running away to book their tickets in advance.
According to Sacnilk’s latest report, Alexander has left an impressive impression in advance booking. The film almost Rs. 99.37 crores from regular 2D cinema screening, additional Rs. 1.57 crores from IMAX 2D show. The film has sold more than 330,000 tickets in various formats, causing a total advance box office collection of total rupees. 10.09 crores, which is a promising signal for its initial performance.
‘Alexander’ tells the panoramic story of Sanjay Rajkot (Salman Khan) and his wife, Sisari Rajkot (Rashmika Mandanna), who belongs to a royal family in Rajkot, Gujarat. The couple lead a peaceful and rich life, which is deeply in love with their people (subjects), until their life is reverse by the arrival of Arjun Pradhan (Pratik Babbar), son of a powerful politician.
The film brings back Salman Khan in one role in a role that combines action, drama and romance, and he has joined as a female lead by talented Rashmika Mandanna.
