mirzapur Star Ali Fazal has joined the cast of the fantasy drama Blood Universe with Samantha Prabhu. Produced by Raj and DK, the upcoming series also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Vamika Gabbi. It is directed by Rahi Anil Barve, best known for the 2018 cult horror film Tumbbad,
A source said, “This project is an amazing vision from Raj and DK, it is definitely a step forward in its genre of fantasy drama. The cast has finally been finalised and the shoot is set to begin next week. Ali will be shooting for the series till August and will also complete short schedules for his other projects. This show is for him and the vision of the show was enough to excite Ali to be a part of the series. It is a really interesting part, something he has never done before both from a character perspective and genre-wise.”
The shooting of this 6-part limited series will begin next week in Mumbai.
Barve has also directed the upcoming series Stories of Gulkand, It is described as a unique satire set in the fictional town of Gulkanda. Raj and DK are the producers of the show.
