At the end of October, while getting checked for an autoimmune thing I got a shocking diagnosis: a routine scan revealed a small malignant tumor in the kidney. Absolutely clear. No kidney-related symptoms, no hereditary No history of drinking/smoking. Immediate surgery was advised on 26th December i.e. a part of my kidney was removed (it was done open). In the middle, there is a dramatic Cronenbergian lesion.) It was successful, the cancer came out of me, catching it very early in the low-grade stage. Was taken, since then I am recovering and gaining strength again (there was no better excuse than this for complaining to all my acquaintances in recent months – my puja, Diwali, Christmas, New Year all hospital rooms Were in. And here are some of those friends. Blurry photos. Combined with excellent surgeons made it tolerable.) (PS – The masked men in picture 1 are the heroes of All That Breathes. ,
Shaunak told that he had undergone surgery in December, which was successful. Filmmaker Mira Nair and actress Tillotama Shome, among others, also visited Shaunak in the hospital.
