Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun condoled the death of a woman at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.
On 4 December, Allu Arjun’s fans flocked to a theater in Hyderabad, prompting the police to resort to mild lathi charge to control the crowd. In this incident a woman died and her son was injured.
He shared a video on social media platform X, in which he assured that he and the entire film team stand with the family. He also announced an assistance of Rs 25 lakh to help the bereaved family.
“We express our deepest condolences to the family. We understand that no words or actions can compensate for the loss you have endured… I would like to extend financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the family,” he said in the video. I want to give.” As a goodwill gesture to the family…we will also take care of the medical expenses…”
The caption accompanying the video reads, “Deeply saddened by the tragic incident that took place at Sandhya Theatre. My heartfelt condolences to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them that they are not alone in this pain and Will meet him.” While respecting the family’s need for space to grieve in person, I am committed to providing every possible support to help them navigate this challenging journey.”

Earlier, the makers of the film had issued an official statement expressing grief over this tragic incident.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred during last night’s screening. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and the young child undergoing treatment. We are committed to standing with them at this difficult time and providing all possible support. With deep sorrow,” wrote Mythri Movie Makers on X.

Earlier on Thursday, Central Zone DCP Akshansh Yadav had said that Allu Arjun and his security team have been made accused in the case and the police is trying to identify the people responsible behind the incident.
“According to the complaint, the theater management, actor Allu Arjun and his security team have been made accused… We have to identify who in their security team is responsible and who were there yesterday who pushed people and created this situation … We were deployed there, there has been no mistake on the part of the police.

Meanwhile, ‘Pushpa 2’ is making waves at the box office. The theaters are witnessing ‘housefull’ shows ever since the makers released the film on Thursday.
According to the team of ‘Pushpa 2’, the film earned a whopping Rs 294 crore globally on the first day of its release.
With its huge collection, Pushpa 2 broke the opening day record of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Jawaan’ in Hindi language. It also broke RRR’s record of Rs 156 crore and became the biggest domestic opener of all time.
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetti Media, the film will see Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat.
The film’s lead actor Allu Arjun received a National Film Award for his performance in the first part. The first part of Pushpa, directed by Sukumar, featured a power struggle against the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling.
