Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun has returned to his residence after appearing at Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad in connection with the Sandhya theater incident.
The actor was called to Chikkadpally police station today and asked to ‘cooperate’ in the investigation.

Security has been beefed up outside the actor’s residence following recent protests demanding justice for the deceased woman.
The tragic incident happened on December 4 when Allu Arjun attended the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule. A huge crowd gathered to watch him and the situation escalated when he waved to fans from the sunroof of his car. A woman named Revathi died and her child Shri Tej was injured. Following the incident, Allu Arjun was arrested and later released on bail after furnishing a bond of Rs 50,000.
Advocate Srinivas Reddy, party to Allu Arjun’s quashing petition, provided details about the case, and confirmed that he has filed a writ petition.
In an interview with ANI, he said, “We filed the writ petition challenging the November 29 memorandum, which allowed benefit shows and screenings like 1 am and 4 am. Unfortunately, on the 4th, During such a benefit show, a woman lost her life, yet he came with the intention of doing a road show and publicity without any regard for the law and order. to break “He is now the prime accused in a woman’s death, and his son is seriously ill.”
He further said, “Allu Arjun went to the High Court to quash the petition. As a concerned citizen, we made him a party to the petition and somehow he got interim bail. My demand to both the Central and State governments is that this There is a fair case for cancellation of his bail, he should be sent to jail, and there should be police custody and interrogation.”
Expressing his gratitude to Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, Reddy said, “I thank Telangana CM Revanth Reddy for speaking the truth. The bouncers have created a ruckus in Telangana. The counter-press meeting organized by Allu Arjun was inappropriate And his bail conditions were breached.”
“I came to Chikkadpally police station to give information, but the police said I needed permission. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s bouncers attempted to assault me. I dare not touch me and assault me. I will file a police complaint against Allu Arjun for this.” he adds.

Meanwhile, Congress MLC Tinnamar Mallanna lodged a complaint against Pushpa 2 at Medipally police station yesterday. On 22 December, a group of people demanding justice for Revathi, who was killed in the Sandhya theater tragedy, attacked Allu Arjun’s residence.

A man climbed the compound wall and started throwing stones, prompting security personnel to intervene. During the dispute, the protesters damaged flower pots and assaulted the security personnel.
Six persons claiming to be part of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC) were detained and later granted bail.
Earlier, Pushpa 2 producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar handed over a check of Rs 50 lakh to the victim’s family at KIMS hospital in Hyderabad, in the presence of Telangana Minister for Roads and Buildings and Cinematography, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. The check was received by the father of Revathi’s husband, Mr. Tej, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Political controversy has also erupted over this incident. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy blamed Allu Arjun for the tragedy, saying in the Assembly that the police had refused to allow any program at the Sandhya Theater due to security concerns.
However, the actor rejected the allegations of misconduct and called it an attempt at “character assassination”.
