Mumbai: Fans eagerly waiting for the release of Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ will now have to wait for six more months as the pan-India film is now likely to release in theatres on December 6.
On Monday, Allu Arjun took to social media to share the news of the film’s release being officially pushed by six months, saying, “#Pushpa2TheRule in cinemas from 6th December, 2024.”
Last week, the film’s scheduled release on August 15 was postponed indefinitely due to some post-production work.
The film’s original editor Karthik Srinivas has left the project and has been replaced by Naveen Nooli, who is currently working on the final cut of the film.
Sources say that director Sukumar is reconsidering certain portions of the film because of VFX and wants to reshoot them for better quality.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles.
