Music composer-Genninger Amal Mallik on Thursday created a lot of stir on Thursday, which shows through a now-free post on Instagram that he is clinically depressed and his parents, musicians Dabu Malik and singer Jyoti Malik, his and his younger brother, the distance between him and his younger brother, singer Armaan Malik. In another statement posted on Thursday, Amal said that it does not change anything between Armaan and that, and that nothing can come between them.
In a post-re-post on Instagram, Amal wrote, “Today I am standing at a point where I have been looted my peace, emotionally and perhaps also financially drought, but it is at least of my concerns. What is really meant that I am clinically depressed to these incidents.
He said, “The journey has been very good for both of us, but my parents’ actions are for the reason that we have gone far away from each other as brothers …” he said.
Amal further said that he wanted to hold talks with this family with ‘strictly professional’. “Today, with a heavy heart, I declare that I am moving away from these personal relationships. From now on, my conversation with my family will be strictly professional. It is not an angry decision, but is born from the need that refuses to heal and recover my life. I refuse to do my future past.
A few hours later, Amal requested the media in his Instagram stories that they should avoid sensationalizing the news. “Thanks to love and support. It really matters a lot, but I would request media portals not to bother my family … please do not sensationalize and give negative headlines to my vulnerability … It’s a request. It’s a request. I have a very difficult time to open it and I always love my family, but nothing.
Armaan Malik is yet to comment on these developments.
