Devastating wildfires in California are ravaging the state, displacing thousands of people and destroying many homes. Priyanka Chopra, who lives in Los Angeles with her family, expressed deep grief and offered assistance to those affected by the disaster.
Priyanka expressed her concerns and praised the heroic efforts of firefighters and first responders. “My heart is heavy for L.A.. While I am deeply grateful for my family’s safety, so many of our friends, colleagues, and fellow Angelenos have lost so much,” he wrote in an emotional post.
He added, “These fires have displaced countless families and devastated entire communities, leaving a desperate need for rebuilding and support. To the firefighters, first responders and volunteers who risked everything – you are truly Is a hero.”
Priyanka also encouraged her followers to contribute to relief efforts. “Over the past week, I have seen countless GoFundMe pages and organizations working tirelessly to provide relief.”
On January 9, Priyanka Chopra also expressed her gratitude to the “brave” first responders who worked tirelessly to help those affected by the wildfires.
He shared a post on Instagram Stories showing first responders battling the blaze, which has devastated thousands of acres of land.
Priyanka wrote, “Thank you so much to the incredibly brave first responders. Thank you for working tirelessly throughout the night and continuing to help the affected families. @lasdhq @losangelesfiredepartment @lapdhq.”
Priyanka had earlier posted a video which showed the fire in the forests of Los Angeles.
On January 7, a massive wildfire broke out in Los Angeles, forcing the evacuation of more than 30,000 residents. In response to the crisis, California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in Los Angeles.
The fire has caused massive destruction in and around Los Angeles, affecting thousands of families, including many Hollywood celebrities. Stars like Anna Faris, Eugene Levy, Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester have suffered personal losses.
Adam and Leighton’s $6.5 million Malibu home was completely destroyed, while other celebrities like Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler and Steven Spielberg were forced to evacuate their homes.
