Amid Los Angeles wildfires, ‘heartbroken’ Preity Zinta shares update, ‘We are safe so far’


New Delhi:

Preity Zinta shared an update on social media and assured fans that she and her family are safe “at the moment” amid the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.

On Twitter Will be taken or put on high alert, with snow and fog like ash falling from the hazy sky.” “The fear and uncertainty of what will happen if the winds don’t calm down with the children and grandparents.”

He further said, “I am saddened by the devastation around us and grateful to God that we are still safe.”

Preity also expressed her condolences and prayers to those who were displaced or lost everything in the fire. He concluded his speech by thanking the fire department, firefighters and all those who helped in saving lives and property.

On January 9, Priyanka Chopra also expressed her gratitude to the “brave” first responders who worked tirelessly to help those affected by the wildfires.

He shared a post on Instagram Stories showing first responders battling the blaze, which has devastated thousands of acres of land.

Priyanka wrote, “Thank you so much to the incredibly brave first responders. Thank you for working tirelessly throughout the night and continuing to help the affected families. @lasdhq @losangelesfiredepartment @lapdhq.”

Priyanka had earlier posted a video which showed the fire in the forests of Los Angeles.

Similarly, actress Nora Fatehi evacuated California on January 9 following the devastation caused by wildfires in Los Angeles.

In a video, Nora shared her harrowing experience: “Hey guys, I’m in Los Angeles, and the wildfires are crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s crazy. We just got a five-minute evacuation order First, I quickly packed all my stuff and am going to the airport to rest because I really hope it doesn’t get canceled. Haven’t experienced anything like this before – just Fire out of control, I’ll keep you guys updated.”

On January 7, 2025, a massive wildfire swept through Los Angeles, forcing the evacuation of more than 30,000 residents. In response to the crisis, California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in Los Angeles.
