Mumbai: Television actor Elli Goni has expressed deep concern after knowing that his family in Jammu was directly affected by the recent drone attacks amid growing tension between India and Pakistan.
As the border disturbance intensifies, the Goni took to share her crisis on social media, highlighting the fear and uncertainty faced by the citizens in the struggle affected areas. In his post, the ‘Bigg Boss’ actor, who is currently out of the country, expressed his anguish, calling the glory of war on social platforms, while innocent civilians raise the brunt of struggle.
On Friday, Goni shared some of her photos with her family members and wrote, “Sleepless and shattered, stuck out of India, as my family in Jammu ended the attack last night. My whole family, children and parents have to face the terror of drone and unrest, yet some people pride at their homes.
Eli Goni, who lives from Jammu, also raised his heartfelt thanks to the Indian Air Force after a recent spate of drone and missile strikes targeting Pakistan. He shared that he was extremely concerned about the safety of his loved ones. Despite her concern, Ellie expressed immense relief after obtaining confirmation that her family is safe, the credit of vigilance and rapid action of the Indian armed forces amidst the growing boundary stresses.

On 8 May, Pakistan started a series of air strikes targeting more than a dozen places, including Jammu Civil Airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia and several military establishments in the region. These strikes had part of Operation Sindoor after India’s accurate attacks on terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir, which was a reaction to the disastrous Pahgam terror attacks.
