New Delhi: The much-awaited trailer of the sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ is all set to release in three days and the excitement is palpable. The makers today released a new poster featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan in his Ashwathama avatar. Needless to say, the megastar looks racy and battle-ready, holding his weapon and wearing a divine gem on his forehead.
Amitabh Bachchan can be seen standing in the middle of a battlefield, with a few people lying on the ground behind him, with a life-size vehicle behind him. Hinting that their wait is soon going to end, with the film’s trailer releasing in three days, the caption reads, “Their wait is coming to an end… 3 days left for #Kalki2898AD trailer, releasing on 10th June”
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s character of Ashwatthama was unveiled through a grand projection at Nemawar, Narmada Ghat in Madhya Pradesh. The selection of Nemawar and Narmada Ghat for the occasion was very significant as it is believed that Ashwatthama still roams the grounds of Narmada, leading to excitement among fans for the film and the actor’s portrayal of the character.
Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.
A multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi film, set in the future, will hit the screens on June 27, 2024.
