Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to play the host again for his popular TV quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16’.
On Thursday, the Bollywood king shared a black and white picture from the sets of KBC 16 on social media platform X and wrote, “T 5082 – back on KBC 16th season..”

In another photo he is seen running.
He captioned, “T 5083 – Yes I’m back and still no change in routine – the race is on.”

Earlier, Sony TV had announced on social media with a promo that the beloved show is making a comeback due to popular demand.
The promo begins with Big B’s emotional speech which he gave during the finale of the previous season. However, as it ends, a voice can be heard saying, “Har Aarambh ka Ant tiyar hai magar apno ke pyaar mein jo aanand hai.. to har ant ke baad shaarambh nishchay hai..”
Big B later said, “If the sound of your love resounds, I will have to come again.”
The ‘Agneepath’ star began hosting the quiz show in 2000, and since then he has been a part of the show continuously except for one season. In 2006, Shah Rukh Khan replaced Big B for the third season of the show.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Big B was last seen in the futuristic film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
Ever since ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ released in June, fans and the film industry have been praising the performances of both the leads and the cast and team of the film have been receiving praise from all quarters.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, this post-apocalyptic film is inspired by Hindu scriptures and takes place in the year 2898 AD.
Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Disha Patani are also part of this film. The film is a mythology-inspired sci-fi film set in the future. Actors Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur have made cameos in the film.
Apart from this, Amitabh is busy shooting for ‘Vettaiyan’, which also stars Rajinikanth.
He also has ‘Fakt Purush Mate’ which is the sequel to the critically acclaimed ‘Fakt Mahilayo Mate’.
In this film, Big B will be seen in the role of God. Before this, he has also played the role of God in ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ (2008).
The film is a humorous look at the generational divide and the clash between tradition and modernity and is produced by Pandit and Vaishal Shah. It is written and directed by Jai Bodas and Parth Trivedi and stars Yash Soni, Mitra Gadhvi, Isha Kansara and Darshan Jariwala.
This film is going to be released in theatres on 15th August.
