The makers held a grand event in Mumbai ahead of the film’s release on June 27. During the event, Big B shared his experience of working in the film and how he felt after hearing the script. He also praised the film’s director Nag Ashwin for coming up with such a great concept.

He said, “Naagi came and explained the idea of Kalki 2898 A.D. After he left, I thought, what is Naagi drinking? It’s very humiliating to even think about something like this. The visuals you have just seen are unbelievable. It’s amazing how someone could have imagined such a futuristic project.”

Big B said, “Whatever Nag Ashwin may have thought, he really pulled together all the ingredients and effects to suit his vision. Working for Kalki 2898AD has been an amazing experience, which I will never forget.”
