New Delhi: Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding was a grand ceremony. Their wedding is said to be the most spectacular wedding of the year and there is no doubt about it. As the pictures and videos of Anant and Radhika’s wedding are going viral on the internet, many questions are being raised as to who was the photographer of the event and how did he cover the entire wedding so beautifully. Himanshu Patel, founder of Epic Stories, was behind creating beautiful memories for Radhika and Anant’s wedding.
Wedding photographers were asked to be present even when they were invisible
Speaking to The Indian Express, Himanshu revealed that one brief he received from the Ambani family was quite strange. Sharing his experience of covering the entire wedding, right from the pre-wedding in Jamnagar, Himanshu said, “Jamnagar was very challenging. I had never seen anything like this before, it was so big. We reached there a few days before the actual event date and we were very surprised… A lot of planning went into it, we met different vendors, what to do, how to execute it. Because the only brief we received from the family was that ‘you have to be very careful at all times. Be present while being invisible.’ A wedding is not just for photography but also an experience for the guests. So we captured the special moments without interrupting the couple’s special day.”
Himanshu Patel revealed that Katy Perry’s concert was a surprise for Radhika and Anant
The photographer said, “There were many special moments, but as wedding photographers, there were no ‘surprises’ because we knew who was coming, when and what was going to happen. For the couple, there were a lot of surprises. The couple had no idea about the Katy Perry show on the cruise! There were many things that were kept as a surprise for Anant and Radhika. We were given special information about events that the couple did not know about, so we had to capture the moment when it was revealed!”
Anant and Radhika got married on July 12 and are currently in Jamnagar.
