The emotional video shows Radhika Merchant walking alongside Anant Ambani. She performs the ritual of throwing rice over his shoulder, which signifies her farewell from the family and the blessings she brings when she officially joins the Ambani family. Also, Shloka Ambani and Isha Ambani are seen performing a special dance for Radhika, which adds a heartwarming touch to the ceremony.
After wearing a traditional red and white lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her wedding, the newlyweds chose a stunning sindoori red outfit designed by Manish Malhotra for the emotional farewell ceremony.
The brocade silk lehenga skirt adorned with Banarasi brocade print in sunset shades, exudes timeless elegance and cultural homage.
Completing her look, Radhika draped a Banarasi silk dupatta with real gold embroidery and silk work over her shoulders, and paired it with a veil that flowed into a dramatic train.
The lavish wedding witnessed a huge guest list that included reality TV stars Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, Samsung chairman Lee Jae-yong, Bollywood biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone, along with several celebrities, cricketers and politicians.
The wedding festivities will culminate on July 14 with the Mangal Utsav or the wedding ceremony which will be three days of grand celebrations showcasing Indian culture and tradition at an extraordinary level.
