Mumbai: Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, who recently got married in a grand ceremony on July 12, received blessings from two eminent spiritual leaders, the Shankaracharya of Dwarka.
Peetha Swami Sadananda Saraswati and Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath Swami Avimukteshwarananda at the ‘Shubh Ashirwad’ ceremony held at Jio World Centre, Mumbai.
In the video, Jyotirmath’s Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda can be seen giving prasad including fruits and chunni to Anant and Radhika.

Earlier footage showed groom Anant Ambani’s parents Nita and Mukesh Ambani welcoming Shankaracharya Swami Sadananda Saraswati of Dwarka Peeth and Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda of Jyotirmath when they arrived to attend the ‘shubh ashirwad’ ceremony.
Religious leaders who attended the ceremony included Swami Sadananda Saraswati, Shankaracharya, Dwarka, Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati, Shankaracharya Joshimath, Gauranga Das Prabhu, Divisional Director, ISKCON, Gaur Gopal Das, Monk, ISKCON, Radhanath Swami, Member, Governing Body, ISKCON, Pujyashree Rameshbhai Ojha, Gautambhai Ojha, Pujyashree Devaprasad Maharaj, Vijuben Rajani, Shree Anandababa Seva Sanstha, Shree Balak Yogeshwardas Ji Maharaj, Badrinath Dham, Pujyashree Chidananda Saraswati, Head, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Shree Namramuni Maharaj, Jain Muni, Founder-Prasadam; Dhirendra Shastri, and Bageshwar Dham.
The induction of various religious leaders reflects the desire of the young Ambani couple to begin their married life with the blessings and wisdom of various spiritual gurus from the Vedic traditions, reflecting their deep reverence for Indian customs, rituals and traditions.
Yoga guru Baba Ramdev was also present at the ceremony. Swami Rambhadracharya, Swami Kailashananda, Mahamandaleshwar, Niranjani Akhada, Avdheshanand Giri, Mahamandaleshwar, Juna Akhada, Shri Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj, Vishwa Shanti Seva Trust, Didi Maa Sadhvi Ritambhara Ji, Vatsalya Gram and Shri Vishal Rakesh Ji Goswami, Chief Priest, Shrinathji Temple were also present to bless the beautiful couple.

The wedding ceremony was attended by many celebrities from Bollywood, business and politics, including Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and international star Kim Kardashian.
Radhika and Anant Ambani’s wedding was celebrated at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Radhika Merchant stole the show with her stunning style and charm throughout the festivities.
After wearing a traditional ivory and red lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, for the farewell ceremony, Radhika chose a stunning vermillion red outfit designed by Manish Malhotra.
Carefully styled by Riya Kapoor, this lehenga reflects a blend of cultural heritage and contemporary flair. Her sindoori red lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra featured intricate karchobi work on the backless blouse, which was complemented by a brocade silk lehenga skirt adorned with Banarasi prints in vibrant sunset colours.
The outfit was completed with a Banarasi silk dupatta and veil that swung into a dramatic train, creating a picture of timeless elegance. Her regal appearance was enhanced by heirloom jewellery passed down through generations, adorned with gold, diamonds and emeralds.
From the choker to the maang tika, every accessory contributed to Radhika’s stunning appearance on her special day. The celebrations will continue with the wedding reception ‘Mangal Utsav’ on July 14.
