Mumbai: Ananya Panday expressed her happiness over the arrival of a baby boy to her cousin Alanna Panday and husband Ivor McCray. Alanna and Ivor shared the news on their Instagram account with an adorable video.
In the clip, the new parents and their son can be seen dressed in blue. Along with the video, the couple has also added a caption, which reads, “Our little angel is here.”
An excited Ananya reposted the video on her Instagram story.
Sharing her happiness, the ‘Gahriyaan’ actress welcomed her nephew with a note that read, “My beautiful baby nephew is here.”
Earlier in March, the couple had hosted a grand baby shower party attended by a number of Bollywood celebrities.
Alanna Panday and Ivor McCrae, who got married in Mumbai last year, have announced that they are expecting their first child in February.
Posting a video on Instagram, Alanna Panday captioned it, “We love you so much already, we can’t wait to meet you.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya Panday has several exciting projects lined up. She will be seen in the TV series ‘Call Me Bae’ alongside Varun Dhawan and Vir Das.
The series follows the story of a billionaire fashionista who is disowned by her family after a scam, and her journey to freedom.
Earlier in May, the makers shared a new poster of the series on their Instagram account, announcing that it will start streaming from September 6.
Starring Ananya Panday in the lead role as Bella Baya Choudhary, the series also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskaan Jaffrey, Niharica Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur.
Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and presented by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra as executive producers, the series sees Ananya Panday making her OTT debut.
She is also prepping for her upcoming films ‘Control’ and ‘The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair’.
Ananya was last seen on OTT in ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, for which she received a lot of praise. Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh ​​​​Gaurav were also with her in this.
