Top star Prashant is back! After making headlines boyTamil remake of Sriram Raghavan’s Bollywood film johnny traitorIts blindfolded This time a remake and Prashant made a great comeback blind manWhich is directed by his father and filmmaker Thyagarajan.

Prashanth is not particularly known for his acting skills; he was at the helm of the era when ‘chocolate boys’ were the norm for lead roles and while he was known for his charming screen presence, he gravitated towards films that relied on his other talents such as action and dancing. As a pianist, pretending to be visually impaired in the name of an “experiment”, blind people Krissh has given Prashanth a great space to showcase his talent and the veteran actor has done it justice. Be it the scene where he witnesses the murder of actor Karthik (Karthik), carried out by the star’s second wife Simi (Simran) and her lover Manohar (Samuthirakani), or the comparatively simple sequence where he falls in love with Julie (Priya Anand), Prashanth has done a great job as a man who puts up a facade to deceive everyone and then gets caught in his own web of lies. The film gives the character many opportunities to indulge in moral ambiguity and as a man who barely wants to survive for a better tomorrow, Prashanth has portrayed the character’s vulnerabilities and emotions well.

If you have seen blindfoldedIt may seem strange to see that the Tamil version has even copied the opening slide from the original film with “What is life? It depends on the lever”. But here is a brief description of the changes: boy was compared to johnny traitor I was assured that only a scene-by-scene remake could make this film a success… and it did. So much so that it would not be an exaggeration to say that it is far better than the Telugu and Malayalam remakes, artist And Bhramam,

What makes the Tamil version stand out is its amazing star cast. Undoubtedly, the gist of it is that blindfolded Tabu’s character is there and with great responsibility, Simran has made it work for herself. Prashanth and Simran’s characters are a living example of how a person’s nature changes when he is in trouble; one tries to run away to save himself, the other doesn’t think twice about breaking the wall to escape. Simran, in a powerful role after a long time in Tamil cinema, has acted with such ease that we almost forget that both of them have fought tooth and nail against each other. blind man used to be one of the best onscreen couples in movies like Kanedhire Thondrinal, Parthen Rasithen, Thamizh And Pair,

What comes as a pleasant surprise is Karthik playing the role of an old fashioned hero trying something new in life with a new wife. Mouna RagamListening to ‘Paanivizhum Malarvanam’ and ‘Kadhal Kavithaigal Padithidum’, and the music from ‘Keeravani’ playing when his character is killed, or singing ‘Chandirane Suriyane’ and ‘Nenjukule Innarunnu’, the film doubles up as a tribute to the actor.

The rest of the cast has done a good job and the final confrontation between the rogue cop and his wife could have been recreated in the Tamil version or else failed, but the roles played by Urvashi and Yogi Babu as the organ collectors are way off target. The film also lacks insanity. blindfolded And while some scenes fall flat, the excellent acting of the lead actors keeps the film afloat. Though the songs of the film fail to stick in our memories, the brilliant piano compositions leave a mark.

Besides proving to be a satisfying watch for those who haven’t seen it yet, blindfoldedThis movie is a good comeback for Prashanth, one of the finest actors in Tamil cinema who did not get his due recognition. Hopefully this movie will be a success. blind man It turned out to be a rabbit’s foot for Prashant!
