The former Hollywood power couple, whose bitter divorce has been playing out publicly for years, will find themselves under the same roof for the time being, despite their ongoing legal battles. The anticipated reunion at the Venice Film Festival comes shortly after their shared children dropped Pitt’s surname, with the actor left ‘saddened’ by the situation.

The high-profile split, announced in 2016, has stretched on for eight years and there appears to be no resolution in sight, as the feud continues to get ‘bitter’. The former couple have largely kept their distance from each other at big events and award ceremonies, ensuring their paths rarely cross. However, they may be forced to run into each other at the upcoming Venice International Film Festival. Both Angelina and Brad are set to debut their new film at the big, star-studded event, which kicks off on August 28.
The Maleficent star, whose last film was Marvel’s Eternals in 2021, will make her debut in a new biopic, Maria, a tribute to opera singer Maria Callas, directed by Pablo LarraÃn. On the other hand, the Moneyball actor will return with a new film, Wolves, which will see George Clooney playing his co-star and friend.
