Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax discharged from ICU

LOS ANGELES: The 20-year-old was hospitalized and was recently released from the ICU, according to a source speaking exclusively to PEOPLE.

“Pax has been discharged from the ICU. He suffered a complex stroke, and now begins the long process of recovery and physiotherapy,” the source said.

The source also revealed that Pax and his mother are very grateful for the quick response of first responders and the excellent medical care he received.

Jolie, 49, has been by Pax’s side during his recovery. His siblings have also been visiting and helping him. “They’re all very close,” the source said.
This accident happened on July 29 last month.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources said Pax was not wearing a helmet while riding an e-bike in a heavy traffic area on Los Feliz Boulevard around 5 p.m. local time. He reportedly suffered a head injury and a broken hip.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that a 20-year-old man was involved in a crash at 5:12 p.m. on July 29, and a serious traffic collision report has been filed against him.

In addition to Pax, Jolie and Pitt have five other children: Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

According to People’s report, the family is sticking together and supporting Pax during his recovery.
