Pax Jolie-Pitt, the son of Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was hospitalized after suffering head injuries in a crash on Monday. Pax, 20, is now said to be in stable condition and is expected to be discharged on Tuesday, law enforcement sources told TMZ. Pax was riding his electric bike down Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles, California around 5 p.m. on Monday when he was hit from behind by a car. He was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, the insider reported. Pax was rushed to a nearby hospital after complaining of head injuries and hip pain.
Doctors initially suspected a minor bleeding in the brain, but the full severity of his injuries was unclear at the time, the publication reported.
Sources told TMZ that Pax was near an intersection when he crashed his bike into a car that was stopped at a red light. The other driver reportedly got out of the vehicle to check on him before emergency services arrived.
Pax is one of six children that Angelina, 49, and Brad, 60, share. The former couple are also parents to Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
Angelina and Brad, who were divorced in April 2019, adopted all of their children except Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne.
In recent years, Angelina Jolie and her children’s relationship with Brad Pitt has deteriorated, as she has accused him of physical abuse. They filed for divorce in 2016 after two years of marriage and a 12-year relationship.
Brad Pitt has denied these claims and the FBI has refused to file any charges against him.
