Speaking candidly at an exclusive London hotel on Saturday evening, the 49-year-old star reflected on her ongoing struggle with loneliness, and admitted she still yearns for companionship as she copes with life on her own. Jolie feels ‘alone’ despite having six children
When asked what characteristics of Maria most resembled Jolie’s, the actor replied, “I have my children who I love but as an adult, I’m often alone. I find myself identifying with her loneliness and isolation.” She added, ”I also haven’t been able to figure out how to live my life in a way where I’m on my own. Perhaps a lot of artists feel that as a people we are in an open space. We are not completely organized. So it leaves us awkward sometimes,” as reported by The Sun.
Earlier there were rumors that the Maleficent actor is dating rapper Akala as they were seen together on several occasions, but it was never confirmed by any party involved. Maria is Jolie’s first film project to be released in three years.

Jolie’s new film made her ‘cry’
During the interview, Jolie revealed that she realized the emotional storm that her character Maria went through. “When I’m there crying, that’s my pain, that’s my sadness,” the actor said.
As the new year approaches, Jolie is bracing for even more public scrutiny, with her ongoing legal battle with ex-husband Pitt over ownership of the famous Chateau Miraval vineyard set to take center stage. The multi-million pound court case, which has attracted widespread attention, will eventually go to trial in 2025, rekindling public interest in their bitter split.
