Mumbai: Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor celebrated his 68th birthday on Tuesday. On the occasion, leading B-Town celebrities including Kajol, Ajay Devgan and Sonam Kapoor extended warm birthday wishes to the actor.
Anil Kapoor is known for films and web series like Beta, Taal, No Entry, ‘Animal’, ‘The Night Manager’ and many more like ‘Pukaar’, ‘Mashaal’, ‘Tezaab’ and many more.
Actress Kajol shared a picture of Anil Kapoor on her Instagram handle and wished the actor ‘happy birthday’.
“Wishing the evergreen @anilskapoor a very happy birthday filled with happiness, laughter and endless energy.”
The pair starred together in the 1999 hit film ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’.
Ajay Devgan praised the ‘Beta’ actor for always being full of energy and charm. She shared a candid picture of herself in which Ajay is seen standing with folded hands while Anil is talking in the background.
“Always bring charm and energy! How old are you, by the way?” Ajay Devgan wrote while sharing the picture from his Instagram handle.
Kareena Kapoor Khan also wished the actor on his birthday. Sharing a monochrome photo on her Instagram Stories, the actress wrote, “Happy Birthday to the best. Anil ji, inspire you now and always. Subedar.”
Rakul Singh Preet wished the actor ‘excellent health’ in the years to come and wrote, “Happy Birthday, Anil sir! May you keep moving forward, enjoy good health and find fulfillment in all your endeavors. Here’s to many more years.” There is success and happiness.”
On the occasion of his 68th birthday, evergreen actor ‘Anil Kapoor’ surprised his fans by sharing the first look of his upcoming film ‘Subedaar’.
The poster shows the ‘Animal’ actor’s intense look, giving fans a glimpse of his interesting role.
Sharing the announcement on social media, the makers wrote, “A special day demands a special announcement! #Subedaar, new film, coming soon.”
In ‘Subedaar’, Radhika Madan plays the role of Shyama, who is the daughter of Anil Kapoor’s character Subedar Arjun Maurya.
The film is directed by Suresh Triveni, who previously directed T-Series’ comedy-drama ‘Tumhari Sulu’ (2017) and ‘Jalsa’, both directed by Vidya Balan.
Vikram Malhotra, Suresh Triveni and Anil Kapoor are the producers of the film.
In this action drama, ‘Subedar’ Arjun Singh grapples with civilian life, a strained relationship with his daughter and societal dysfunction. The man who once fought for his country must now fight the enemies within to protect his home and family,” read the official synopsis of the project.
‘Subedaar’ is a joint production of Opening Image Films and Anil Kapoor Film and Communication Network (AKFCN), with Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni as producers.
