A few days ago, Nandamuri Balakrishna was involved in another controversy when he pushed actress Anjali on stage during a promotional event of a Telugu film. Gangs of Godavari. Now Anjali has reacted to the controversy and said that she has a good friendship with the Telugu superstar for a long time.
Balakrishna was last seen on the big screen in Anil Ravipudi’s film. Bhagwant KesariMany on social media criticised his move. In the viral video, the actor is seen pushing Anjali unnecessarily as she was unable to listen to him. Later, many on social media shared the full video in which Anjali and Balakrishna are seen sharing light moments on stage.
“I would like to thank Balakrishna garu for gracing this event Gangs of Godavari “I would like to express that Balakrishna garu and I have always maintained mutual respect for each other. We share a great friendship for a long time. It was wonderful to share the stage with him again,” Anjali wrote on X.
Celebrities included playback singer Chinmayi and Hindi film producer Hansal Mehta (Shahid, Scam 1992) Many condemned Balakrishna’s behaviour and criticised those who defended the veteran actor. Chinmayi wrote on X, “When you have everything to gain and nothing to lose, don’t tell a woman what to say and how to behave.” Hansal Mehta wrote on X, “Who is this scoundrel?”
