Paramount and Miramax recently announced plans for a new Scary Movie, following which Faris has shared her thoughts on reprising her iconic character.
In an interview People In the magazine, Faris jokingly explained her requirements to be involved in the upcoming film. “Well, money!” she joked, emphasizing the financial aspect of her return. However, she expressed genuine excitement about reuniting with her co-star from the previous films, Regina Hall, who played Cindy’s best friend Brenda.
“If I knew Regina Hall was coming back, I would have loved to reprise the role,” Faris said. “I would have loved to work with Regina again. I love her so much. We could make each other laugh all day. Regina Hall would have been my answer. And the money. But most of all Regina!”

Faris said, “If my growing up experience is compared to high school, those four movies were instrumental in my life, because they taught me how to use props, how to fall over, how to get hit on the head, how to put Chocolates in my mouth and then spit them out with blood at a convenient moment for the camera.”
