Mumbai: The Delhi government has declared Anupam Kher’s “Tanvi the Great” tax-free in the national capital.
While announcing, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote on its ex handle, “I am happy to share that the Delhi government has declared the film as ‘Tanvi the Great’.”
Describing the film as ‘an emotional and inspirational’ story, CM said that the film describes the inspiring journey of a young, ‘special’ girl – Tanvi, which is firm to achieve her dreams against all obstacles.
The Chief Minister has written that the Delhi government is committed to promoting “Tanvi the Great” – a film that strengthens the spirit of national service, ignites patriotism, and awakens the conscience of the nation.

The film was earlier declared tax-free in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta saw Kher’s direction during a special screening of the drama in Delhi.
After watching “Tanvi The Great”, he addressed the media, shared his views on the play. He claimed that the film must be seen for every child.
“I congratulate Anupam Kher for bringing this film with a special topic for special children. Every moment of this film was so heartbroken that I cannot describe it. This topic is so beautiful that today it is very important for every child of the country, and every child in the world to watch this film. CM said.
“Tanvi The Great” made Sukhangi Dutt’s performance, which stars Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Nasir, Kher and Ian Glenn in important roles.
Produced by Anupam Kher Studios and NFDC jointly, the film is distributed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment along with Anil Tadney’s AA Films.
“Tanvi The Great” reached theaters on 18 July.
