Mumbai: Veteran actor Anupam Kher has officially announced the release date of his much awaited film ‘Tanvi The Great’.
The actor worked on Instagram to unveil the first poster of the film, which featured Debutant Sukhangi Dutt. In the poster, Shubangi, who plays a tissue role, is seen standing with a group of army personnel, in which the national flag is displayed prominently in the background. Announcing the release of the film, Anupam wrote, “He called him separately, but he never saw that as a weakness. While the world tried to fit him into the box, he chose to break them, one by one.
‘Tanvi The Great’ also stars Ian Glenn, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Nasar, and Shubhangi. Directed by Anupam Kher, the film Kher Studio and NFDC are in connection with the lower middle class corporation.
Emotional Drama’s Cannes Film Festival was the world premiere in 2025. The film was shown in the film March du. In the film, the ‘Special 26’ actor will be seen playing the role of Colonel Pratap Raina under his direction. While presenting his character, Anupam Kher opened about the challenges of wearing two hats as an actor and a director for his film “Tanvi The Great”.
He shared the difficulties of balanced both roles, showing how experience pushed him creatively.
Talking about playing Colonel Pratap Raina in the film, Anupam Kher shared, “The most difficult task is to act and direct a film together. Fortunately, I was surrounded by a great set of a very experienced technical team and actors. Otherwise, he saw his performance.
