Mumbai: Director Anurag Basu disappeared the late actor Irrfan Khan and shared how actress Konkana Sen Sharma started crying while filming ‘Metro … In Dino’ as she missed her co-star and friend Irrfan Khan.
In the song ‘Zamana Lege’ of the ‘Metro..in Dino’ launch event, Anurag Basu was included in the artists of the ‘Life in a Metro’ sequel, who also starred Irrfan Khan in the lead role.
In the first installment, Konkana Sen was associated with Irfan Khan, a couple that finally gets a pleasant end in the film.
From the original artists, Konkana is the only actor who is returning to his sequel. After the death of his beloved friend and co-star Irrfan Khan in 2020, it was difficult for the actress to work in the film again.
Recalling the late actor, Anurag Basu shared that Konkanka Sharma began crying during the shooting of a scene from the film (in dino in the metro …) as its tone was “slightly identical” for a scene from the first installment.
He also recalled singer KK at the event, as the singer sang two of the most famous tracks from Prequel’s album: ‘Alvida’ and ‘O Meri Jaan’.
