Anurag Kashyap’s crime drama Nishchi to hit this date in theaters

Anurag Kashyap’s long -lasting crime drama, Nishachi ‘, will premiere in theaters on 19 September, announced Amazon MGM Studio on Monday.

The upcoming film, which took shape under Kashyap’s pen in 2016, was produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh with flip films via Jar Pictures, and is the specialty of political scon asry Thakere with Vedika Pinto, Monica Panwar, Mohammad Zishan Ayub, and Kumud Mishra.

The story investigates the two brothers, whose choice on dramatically different trajectory, reveals the subjects of love, power, crime, betrayal and redemption. Understanding these elements is a journey of consequences that follow human vulnerability and emotional intensity.

Anurag Kashyap reflected on the journey: “Nishchi was written in 2016 and since then I have been looking for a studio that trusted the team wholeheartedly.” He credited Amazon MGM Studios with the offering of the necessary support in the end: “Amazon MGM loved it, believed it, and became the wall behind us.” The filmmaker compared the experience of “returning to the early days of filmmaking” and expressed enthusiasm and nerves about theatrical release.

In Amazon MGM and Prime Video, Nikhil Madhok, director and head of India Original, praised Kashyap: “Raw, unfiltated and emotionally charged a gerstro of the story charged.” Madhok said that “Nishchi” is part of his early dramatic slate, which strengthens his confidence in large screens, cinematic story tell. He highlighted the compelling mixture of suspense, love and struggle of the film, and the music reflects Kashyap’s “unique creative vision”.
