Anushka Sharma is a proud army. Amidst the India-Pakistan border tension, Anushka appreciated the Indian Army in an Instagram post. An old interview of Anushka Sharma is doing rounds on social media, where she talked about when her father was fighting Kargil war. Anushka Sharma then returned only 11 and she did not realize the gravity of the situation. Anushka shared when her father called from the war front, she talked about her school and boyfriends, realizing the serious situation without affairs.
In an interview with The Times of India (2012), the actress said, “Kargil was a difficult at that time. I was very young at that time, but I was scared to see my mother. She was always switched to the news channel throughout the day and was disturbed when she was casualty.”
Anushka said, “When my father called, he could not say much, but I was talking about my school, boyfriend and everything else, without realizing that he was fighting a war.” He said, “I feel proud to say that I am the daughter of an army officer even after being an actor.”
For Anaward, Anushka Sharma’s father is Colonel (Retd) Ajay Kumar Sharma, who has served in every war since 1982, including Operation Bluestar and Kargil War.
After stopping Pakistan’s missile on 8 May, Anushka shared a heart heating up, praising the Indian Army.

India attacked Pakistan and PoK -based terrorist bases in the codename of Operation Sindoor after midnight of 7 May in response to the Pahgam attack.
