Mumbai: After enthralling fans during his Mumbai concert on December 21, Punjabi singer Karan Aujla took the city by storm once again when he enthralled fans by inviting fellow Punjabi singer AP Dhillon on stage during his concert on Sunday. Surprised.
B-Town celebs including Karan Johar and Neha Dhupia also participated in this performance.
Dhillon later posted a picture on his Instagram, captioned, “Mahol pura lehardaar,” to which Aujla replied, “Neend ni aundi.”
The collaboration comes amid a public exchange between AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh. Earlier, Diljit had congratulated both Karan Aujla and AP Dhillon for their tours.
In a speech shared on Dosanjh’s social media handle, the ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ actor said, “My and two brothers have started the tour, all the best to them too. This is the beginning of the time of independent music. Troubles will come. When When a revolution comes, trouble comes. (Translation: “My two brothers have started their tour; good luck to them. The time of independent music has begun. Problems will arise. When a revolution begins, Challenges come. We will continue to do our work.”)
He further said, “All the independent artists, double your efforts and hard work, the time has come for Indian music. Earlier, artists from outside used to come and their tickets were blackened in lakhs, now the tickets of Indian artists are being blackened. This is why It’s called vocal for local.” (Translation: “All independent artistes, double your effort and hard work. The time has come for Indian music. Earlier, foreign artistes used to sell their tickets at exorbitant rates, but now this is happening to Indian artistes. This is ‘Vocal for local’ is what it really means.”)
However, during his Chandigarh show, Dhillon addressed Diljit and said, “First unblock me on Instagram and then talk to me.” He accused Diljit of blocking him, which later led to an argument.
Diljit responded with screenshots that he had not blocked Dhillon, although AP shared the screen recording to support its claim. She also posted a note on her Instagram Stories, saying, “At least we know what’s real and what’s not.”
The conversation between Dhillon and Dosanjh comes at a time when both the actors are enjoying immense success in their respective careers.
Known for his distinctive blend of Punjabi and Western musical styles, Dhillon continues to receive international attention.
Dosanjh, on the other hand, is concluding the Indian leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour with his final performance in Guwahati on December 29 this year.
