A.R. Rahman, Shreya Ghoshal, Mohit Chauhan and Jonita Gandhi among others performed together on stage at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Mangal Utsav.
Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman and National Award-winning singer Shreya Ghoshal sang several of their hit songs together on stage at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s mangal utsav or wedding reception. They also sang tracks from Mani Ratnam’s 2007 period drama Guru, which is based on the life of Anant’s late grandfather Dhirubhai Ambani. Rahman, Shreya perform
Shreya performed the energetic song Barso Re, picturised on Aishwarya Rai in Guru. The film’s composer AR Rahman also joined her on stage. She also performed the song Tere Bina, picturised on Aishwarya and actor-husband Abhishek Bachchan, featuring Jonita Gandhi. The original track had female vocals by Chinmayi Sripada.
Shreya also sang ‘Saans’ composed by Rahman in Yash Chopra’s 2012 romantic drama film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ along with Mohit Chauhan. The original song featured Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Shreya performed Rahman’s recent song ‘Chaka Chak’ picturised on Sara Ali Khan from Aanand L Rai’s 2021 film Atrangi Re. Shreya and Mohit also sang Rahman’s composition Tare Gin in Mukesh Chhabra’s 2020 directorial debut Dil Bechara which was originally picturised on the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi.
Shreya also paid tribute to the senior singers who have sung for Rahman. With the composer playing the piano, Shreya sang Chitra’s song Kehna Hi Kya from Mani Ratnam’s 1995 film Bombay and Sadhna Sargam’s song Chupke Se from Mani Ratnam’s 2002 film Saathiya.

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, has married his girlfriend Radhika Ambani. The months-long celebrations after the wedding culminated on Sunday. Anant Ambani and Radhika Ambani got married on Friday.
The newlyweds were greeted by friends and relatives at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive as part of Mangal Utsav (festival of joy), which many have termed as the biggest wedding of the year.
Stars like Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover, Ravi Kishan, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Ravindra Jadeja and Arshdeep Singh attended the reception.
