Blackpink’s Jennie may be rekindling the fire of love with her ex, Big Bang’s G-Dragon. The K-pop power couple, who previously dated secretly for a year, are sparking romance rumours again. There is speculation that they have secretly rekindled their old flame and have been together since August 2023. This comes after both stars left YG Entertainment to pursue solo careers. This potential reunion has got fans excited and they are wondering if Jennie and G-Dragon are giving their love another chance.
Jennie and G-Dragon’s romance rumors swirl again
Blackpink’s Jennie and Big Bang’s G-Dragon were once a headline-making couple whose relationship was exposed by a popular South Korean media outlet. It was reported at the time that the stars under the same label have been dating for over a year. Although their romance reportedly ended in 2022, fans are in a frenzy again. Speculation has been rife on social media ever since Jennie and G-Dragon were spotted wearing matching items like rings and scarves.

Ever since the two broke up, the solo singer has often been linked to BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung. Despite the K-pop idol’s respective agencies maintaining silence, fans have gathered several evidences pointing to a budding romance between the two. However, things have now turned around.

Fans have been piecing together clues that hint at a possible reunion. Earlier this year, Jennie’s YouTube vlog featured a scarf that looked suspiciously similar to one worn by G-Dragon at a celebrity event. Again, the Pink Venom singer was spotted wearing a ring that looked similar to one worn by her ex-boyfriend at a tech show. Adding fuel to the fire, the Untitled singer has been actively liking Jennie’s social media posts, including photos of her talk show appearances and the announcement of her new agency.
On the work front for Jenny and D-Gregon
In 2023, the BIGBANG member officially ended his 20-year working relationship with YG Entertainment. He then joined Galaxy Corporation under his real name, Kwon Ji Yong, and announced plans to release new music under his new label. Meanwhile, Jennie, along with other BLACKPINK members Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose, chose to leave YG separately while continuing to work together as a group under the same label. Following his departure, he launched his own label, ODD ATELIER, in December 2023.
