Ashok Dubey of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees revealed that the collapse was caused by vibrations from the sound system. He told, “The shooting of the song was being done at the Imperial Palace of Royal Palms, when the roof there collapsed, due to which Arjun Kapoor, Jackky Bhagnani and Mudassar Aziz were injured. Since the place was there for a long time, the set shook due to the vibration caused by the sound, which caused the front part to shake.’

Choreographer Vijay Ganguly shared additional details, saying, “We were shooting a song, and the first day went well. On the second day, everything was going well until around 6 pm when we were taking the shots. We were on the monitor when suddenly the ceiling collapsed. Luckily, it fell in pieces and we had a cistern to protect us. “It could have been devastating if the entire roof had fallen on us, but many people were still injured.”
He further added, “These old locations are often used for shooting, and as production companies, we are sure that safety measures are checked. However, many times the location is inspected before being offered for shooting.” Security is not verified properly.”
