New Delhi: Actor Arjun Rampal, who is currently riding the success of his latest theatrical release, Dhurandhar, has confirmed his engagement with longtime partner and fashion designer Gabriella Demetriades. This was revealed during the promo of Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast Chapter 2, which was shared on social media on Saturday, December 13.
Rampal, who played the role of Major Iqbal in Dhurandhar, which released on December 5, is receiving praise for his performance as the film moves towards the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office. Appearing alongside Gabriella in the podcast teaser, the couple opened up about their relationship, family life and personal journeys.

During the conversation, Gabriella opened up about unconditional love, especially after becoming parents. “Love comes with a condition, like if this person behaves this way he gets my approval or love. But when you have a child, you can’t do that, okay?” He said. The couple, who have been together since 2019, are parents to two sons, Arik and Ariv.

Rampal also reflected on personal loss, sharing the experience of losing his parents. “Nobody can prepare you for the support you need when you lose a parent. That’s why I always say, losing a parent is like losing a limb,” he said.
Adding a light-hearted moment to the discussion, Gabriella poked fun at Rampal’s obsessive-compulsive tendencies, especially his habit of keeping things organized. “He has massive OCD, and I’m the complete opposite,” he said, referring to something as simple as leaving the toothpaste cap open. Rampal humorously replied, “Take the hat off!”

Clarifying her viewpoint, Gabriella said, ‘It’s not like, oh, I’m going after him because he’s really attractive,’ adding that she hopes he doesn’t think of her that way. Responding with humour, Rampal replied, ‘No, no, I went after her because she was hot. Then I realized there was something more to it.”
