Armie Hammer denies allegations of cannibalism and physical abuse

Hollywood actor Armie Hammer has spoken openly about the allegations of physical and sexual abuse as well as cannibalism against him.

Hammer, who rose to fame with his performances in films such as “The Social Network” and “Call Me by Your Name,” faced public criticism in 2021 after messages allegedly sent by him were leaked, detailing his graphic sexual desires and cannibalistic fantasies.

In an interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan, the actor was asked about the allegations, which he has vehemently denied in the past.

“First let’s address the elephant in the room: Are you a cannibal?” Morgan asked, referring to the leaked messages.

The actor replied, “Do you know what you have to do to become a cannibal? You have to actually eat someone.”

Morgan later asked Hammer directly if he had “ever eaten human flesh”.

To this Hammer replied, “No. Well, I never thought I’d have to answer that question. But no, never.” The actor then spoke about the graphic messages he sent to his ex-girlfriend Effie Angelova.

“It was a very intense (relationship)… very sexually-charged, between two people with very similar tendencies and perversions. Any of the conversations that we had inside that relationship, when you take them out of that context and put them in broad daylight, it doesn’t look so good.” In 2021, Angelova accused him of sexual harassment and abuse, but the actor denied it.

When asked about the widespread allegations of misconduct, Hammer said, “None of those people were hurt or upset that I crossed any sexual boundaries.” He also addressed allegations that he slandered his ex-girlfriend, Paige Lorenze.

“I wouldn’t say brand. No… There was a scenario that we talked about beforehand, that we discussed, where I would basically take a little dot and just trace out the letter ‘A’.

“Like a tiny knife tip… I mean, there wasn’t even blood in this situation. It was more like a scratch. It’s like couples get their initials tattooed on each other,” Hammer said.
