LAPD takes over Schwarzenegger’s home

The source told the news outlet that police spoke with the Terminator actor’s security staff and claimed that planting a bomb near his house would be a task for anyone, as the place has 24-hour security and video surveillance. These were set up by the actor to ensure his and his family’s safety.

When police arrived at Schwarzenegger’s home, the actor was not there because he was at the gym and was expected to join the family for a holiday dinner later. No arrests have been made so far by the LAPD in connection with the bomb threat or reporting call. However, representatives for the Hollywood actor said they are “grateful” to the police department who are investigating the situation.

Recently a similar celeb received threats

Its trend has been seen increasing with high profile celebrities. Earlier in the week, recently elected President Donald Trump had revealed that several members of his Cabinet had received such threats. This included a bomb squad visiting Congressman Matt Gaetz’s home to investigate after the threat, reports Complex.

Even members of the Democratic Party have been the targets of assault incidents. One of the most dramatic occurred earlier this year when a false call was made to 911 reporting a fire at the White House and that someone was trapped inside. Firefighters and emergency services responded immediately in the early hours, but discovered the call was a hoax, causing unnecessary panic and ruining the emergency response.
