Bangalore-based singer-songman Arushi Paul released EP recently Home Development, infection and self-consciousness are a hearty exploration. Drawing from his own experiences of transferring to a new city as an 18 -year -old child, his EP turns back to the complications of leaving behind and stepping into an unknown. Home Also reflects its own infection from high school to college, mixing apathy in apathy that echoes deeply.

“The first song in EP, ‘Gate Ave’ catchs the initial wave of self-doubt about leaving a place that you know throughout your life. It reflects on questions that we ask ourselves, such as ‘will I succeed?’ Or ‘would I like it?’
Second song,Mess It Up ‘, in a separate city is about being emotionally prepared for the next chapter of life, “it is gradually gaining confidence in this step,” she says. The third and fourth songs are about making peace, leaving and adjusting change with decisions.
Talking about my journey in music, Arushi says, “I am singing as long as I can remember, and I have been told that I started singing soon after starting to talk.”

“My professional training began when I was 12 years old, and when I really did a love for singing. My music teacher, Richard Andrew Doodley played a very big role in this journey, in terms of trying to try and push me more; what I am now turned into it.”
Arushi has also been a performing artist with Moksha – All Stars, a band founded by Richard, who is also the producer and musician of the EP. Talking about his experience about academics and music, Arushi says, “For me, things were a bit difficult in 10th and 12th grade – with studies, performing and working on my music. I believe that the key is to find a balance; if you are doing what you are doing, it is not difficult to balance it.”
“My parents have been very helpful since the beginning, they understand that this is what I want to do, and that is why I can push myself in terms of making my own music,” says Aushi.
Their music mixture has an impact from cold play and Ed Sheeran to Billy Elish and Johnny Orlando.
Home The collaborative attempt with Richard as a manufacturer and musician, respected in system and programming, and jaime dudley on drums and collisions.
