Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit were also a part of the film. Now, Ashwini, who is married to actor Murali Sharma, has shared a page from her personal life. The actress has opened up about her struggle to conceive. In an interview, Ashwini said, “To be honest, we (had planned to have children). But I have kidney problems and Surrogacy was a new fashion then. So we didn’t have that much money. (Surrogacy was not prevalent at that time. We had no money.) We were still settling, struggling And then tried and at one point the doctor said Your kidneys (we tried and at one time the doctor said my kidneys) will not be able to take the load. So you will either harm yourself or the baby. And later he said ‘no’. So surrogacy became new. (That’s why we didn’t resort to surrogacy).”
Ashwini Kalsekar said that it was all a game of luck. he told Siddharth Alambayan of Hotterfly,He found my place. Well, it’s a matter of luck isn’t it? It feels bad. I am traditional in that I want to live full circle that new hoh paaya. Maybe I had to serve my in-laws, parents and they are our children. I am doing that. (I didn’t get what I wanted. In another segment, Ashwini Kalsekar said that since she cannot have children of her own, she has adopted two dogs who are like her children. The actress said that she has also hired a nanny for her furry companions.
